SWAS is a boutique, family owned business based in Auckland, New Zealand.
We identified a need to help small / new and out of Auckland businesses with cost effective in store marketing of their products directly into the hands of the consumer. We are very proud to be Farro Freshs' PREFERRED in-store sampling company. Something our team have worked very hard to achieve - and continue to uphold. With our industry experience we hand pick and train in-store demonstrators to ensure you (as the client) are getting the best person for the job. Some one who believes in your product and in turn can pass that knowledge - with key features and benefits - on to the consumer. We have a dedicated in-store demonstration manager to support our staff in store, training them in new products and ensuring they are competent conducting their tastings. We are so passionate about our clients that (as business owners) we are sometimes - 'hands on' and enjoy being in-store demonstrators ourselves! |

Our particular specialty are small or start up businesses wanting to trial their sampling in store - without the big commitment of ongoing / expensive marketing campaigns. These stores include Farro Fresh, Boric Food Market, New World, Pak 'n Save and Countdown stores. We also promote products in department stores (Smith & Caugheys), Pet Stores and DIY stores (Mitre 10, Bunnings).
We tailor make each sampling activity ensuring your needs are met. We guide you through the process, book stores on your behalf (incl.completing store compliance paperwork), write up a thorough briefing document for the team (with your input of course!). We co-ordinate point of sale and sample stock items and provide comprehensive reporting - including detailed financials and photos of the demonstrator in action. These photos may also land on our Facebook page!
Brand new to 2017 we have also added our 'Brand Ambassador' division.
This is a 'sales rep / merchandiser' type role where we are your eyes and ears at the coal face - in store checking on your products. We offer 2 weekly, 4 weekly or bi-monthly call cycles to clients with products in Farro Fresh, Nosh, Boric Foodmarket, Harvest Whole Foods / Huckleberry Farms and other specialty stores in Auckland.
We liaise with the buyer, check on your stock (quality, quantity, rotation, best before dates etc), take orders (if applicable) and we also keep an eye out on your competitors. We complete a one page report so that you can see 'at a glance' how each store is tracking / supporting you.
As a company SWAS also work outside the store. An example of this are the three years we were involved in the Weetbix Kiwi Kids Tryathlon. Taking the Brita 'hydration station' around the country for these Kiwi Kids events and encouraging our young athletes to drink plenty of water pre and post race. we've also got a great team for street sampling and at events, food and trade shows.
We believe the personalities of our team are our point of difference and all staff have the mantra of 'Service with a Smile' - which is how SWAS evolved as the name of our company.
